The Massage Therapy Program at Lane Community College offers pre-licensure classes designed to prepare students for the exams required by the Oregon Board of Massage Therapy. The courseload offers a balance of academic and hands-on classes that promise students variety but demand commitment. Instructors have worked for years in healing arts practices, and bring the wisdom of experience to their classrooms. The program offers flexibility to accomodate even the busiest of students; and, classes are held at LCC’s Downtown Campus, which is conveniently located across the street from Eugene’s main bus terminal and in the midst of numerous cafes, markets, and coffee shops.
The Program also offers an array of Continuing Education courses for already-licensed LMTs, many of which are also open to non-licensed massage students. Classes range from beginning workshops in various bodywork modalities, to courses in breathwork and energy practices, to those focused on self-care for the therapist. And, when compared to the expense of many CE workshops, LCC Continuing Education offers an incredibly cost-effective way to advance self and career!
